This Prescott Firearms Training 8-hour class is a continuation to "Defensive Pistol 202" where students will be introduced to more advanced skills, such as threat assessment (shoot / no shoot), identifying and utilizing cover or concealment, engaging multiple threats in tactical priority and pushed to improve (timed) faster shots without losing accuracy, faster speed reloads and other advanced tactics and skills.
Upcoming 303 Class dates TBD. Classes subject to cancellation (and refund) if less than minimum of 4 students or adverse weather.
Prerequisites: Completion of Prescott Firearms Training "Defensive Pistol 202" or equivalent gun safety and proficiency training. Please submit SIGNED WAIVER (CLICK HERE) if not already done.
Cost: $320. Includes instructor fee and range fee.
Bring your own ammo. 250 - 300 rounds. Factory ammo only, no reloaded ammo.

Required Equipment (no exceptions):
1.) Semi-automatic handgun. Please let us know what handgun and caliber you will be using. If interested in revolver gun training, please contact us.
2.) Quality Kydex holster. "Outside the Waist Band" (OWB) designed specifically to fit the gun you will be using and the belt width you will be using (adjustable belt width). No universal fit, nylon, or "collapsible" leather holsters. No "Serpa" style holsters. Please call if you need assistance buying a holster. (Concealed carry holster classes are taught in more advanced classes and private or small group lessons).
3.) Two magazines minimum, more if you have them.
4.) Quality Kydex Mag Pouch / carrier to be worn on belt opposite gun holster, that will hold a minimum of two magazines for the caliber of your gun. Plus an extra empty mag if gun has magazine disconnect safety.
5.) Cover garment that fully covers gun and holster,
Pants or shorts with belt loops.
6.) Sturdy leather belt (or Velcro inner belt, such as Double Alpha Inner Belt that will fit in belt loops.
7.) Eye protection.
8.) Electronic ear protection.. Must be "electronic" ear protection with enhanced hearing to hear range commands.. (If it does not use batteries, it's not electronic).
Other Misc.
Chairs: May need to bring a chair to sit while loading ammo and taking a break, depending on which outdoor range we will be using. Will confirm in email once a class has been scheduled..
Clothing: Please dress according to weather forecast. No low cut tops where hot brass may get inside shirt.
Sun lotion.
Water and snacks. For lunch or a snack break.
Restrooms on site
We reserve the right to inspect and approve equipment prior to class to make sure equipment will be safe to use for the class. Priority #1 is safety, in both equipment and gun handling. If unsure about holster or mag pouch, please contact Larry Arrey to discuss.
